Drop-head title. Fragment consisting of Byron's preface to to the second edition of 'The Vision of Judgment, By Quevedo Redivivus', an attack by Lord Byron on a poem by Southey of the same name published in 1820, which was omitted from the first edition published in the first volume of The Liberal in 1822 (q.v.); stanzas I--IV of the poem; and an advertisement leaf dated January 1st, 1823 explaining the circumstances of the omission, with contents and errata now including those for 'The Vision of Judgment' likewise omitted from the first edition on the verso. The pagination is irregular, with the preface and fragment of the poem numbered [i]--v, 4 and the advertisement leaf unnumbered; the fragment may have been issued to replace pp. [3]--4 of the first edition.
