The company, founded by J.W. Hiort, issued this pamphlet around 1832; it is mentioned in their Descriptive catalogue of models published in 1833. In 1825 Hiort patented his invention of bricks for building circular flues and founded the London, Surrey, and Kent Safety Brick Company to execute his inventions. Copy Notes Bound (11) in a collection of pamphlets.

Binding Later C19th green pebble-grained binder's cloth cloth, gilt-lettered spine reading 'Societies / Pamphlets'. The spine later numbered 'A' in a series of pamphlet volumes.
