Anonymous. By Edward Hatton. Includes a gazetteer of street names and descriptions of buildings arranged alphabetically within sections, giving the origins of many place names. The verso of the title-page of vol. I has an advertisement for the proposed reprinting of Stow's Survey of London. Volume II has slightly different wording in the title, with the imprint reading: printed for John Nicholson, and Robert Knaplock. ESTC t43042; Alston XI.56.
