Copy Notes Imperfect; wanting [8] page 'Introduction' and plates 9 and 14. Bought from W. Boone for 7s. 6d. on 13 February 1822. (Priv. Corr. XVI.E.4.8). Inscribed in ink on front free-endpaper and on title-page John Carr/1758. Containing 8 designs by John Carr - plans and elevations of country houses, arched entrances and an obelisk - on the endpapers and versos of the plates, mostly in pen. For particulars see Concise Catalogue of Drawings. Volumes, Vol. 10. See also Colvin, p. 217. Laid down on back pastedown-endpaper an engraving by E. Rooker of Middlesex Hospital by James Paine.
