London (Place), [J. M'Creery, printer],, [1818].
[4] p. ; 22.8 cm. (8°)

Drop-head title, dated in right-hand margin 'June 1, 1818.' Printer's imprint from colophon. With a list of the subscribers, among them Soane. Apart from the change in the authorship of the text, the only serious departure from the 1816 prospectus (q.v.) appears to have been the decision to issue the work in twelve rather than ten parts. As the price per part remained the same, the price of the book was thus effectively increased by 20%. Part VII, 'the first of the Second Volume,' is promised 'in the Autumn of the present Year.' (p. [4]). Publication was completed in May 1823 (q.v.); in 1826 Soane acquired a second copy from the booksellers Priestley and Weale.

Copy Notes Bound with other publication advertisements at the end of a volume of pamphlets on the arts.

Binding C19th blue paper boards, brown paper spine lettered in ink 'Miscel-/Laneous// Landseer/ Letters// Haydon/ on the/ Elgin/ Marbles/ &c./ &c./ E'. Later numbered '89' in a series of pamphlet volumes.
