The first two parts only of a work intended to appear in 16 or 17 monthly parts. The catalogue of the Bibliothèque Nationale states that tome I only appeared (i.e. the first 8 'livraisons') with a title-page dated 1820.

Copy Notes With the original printed blue paper wrappers printed, the number of the second 'livraison' inscribed in ink. Bound (1) with the prospectus, 1801 (q.v.) and first 3 numbers of Malton's Oxford, 1802--3 (q.v.).

Binding C19th half calf, blind-tooled borders, gilt double-rule spine, morocco-grain cloth boards. Bound with original printed paper wrappers.
