First published in 1686. Erroneously attributed to Sir Isaac Newton. Attributed to George Mabbut in NUC pre-1956. Inscribed in ink on verso of title-page with the name of the proprietor Thos. Astley, authorizing this as his genuine edition. 'The Value Of Church and College Leases Consider'd', by Thomas Manningham, Bishop of Chichester, has a special title-page, and a final page of bookseller's advertisements. This issue includes 'The Money’d Man’s Pocket-Book’, London, 1742, with separate title-page, pagination and register, also signed as above on p. [3] guaranteeing the accuracy of the tables of interest. ESTC t18621.
Copy Notes Imperfect; wanting the separate title-page of 'The Money'd Man's Pocket-book'. Inscribed in ink on front free-endpaper John Soane.
Binding C18th sprinkled sheep, gilt double-rule borders and spine.
