Single quarter sheet, with drop-head title. Proposals for a new edition of Bishop Nicolson's English historical library (the last having been printed in 1776, q.v.) to be issued in numbers, each containing 'on an average Eight half-sheets, Octavo.', i.e 64 pages. Published by Longman, Rees, Orme, Browne, and Green in London and Messrs. Deighton in Cambridge, the first number was to appear on 'the 1st of May, price 3s., Large Paper 5s., and on the first day of every succeeding Month.'
