All engraved. The engraved dedication to Ferdinand IV, King of the Sicilies is signed by 'Andrea Pigonati Ingegnere Militare'. The title and dedication are printed in bistre within black ornamental borders which are also used on the three leaves of engraved text. The front free endpapers are watermarked 1802.
Copy Notes Interleaved with blank leaves watermarked '1802'. The verso of the marbled free-endpaper inscribed in pencil Bound /12/3.
Binding C19th sprinkled calf, gilt-ruled spine, red leather spine-label, marbled end-papers. Bound by Peter Low for 12s. 3d., 25 March 1808. (Spiers Box).
