Comprized in LVII. plates, with descriptions. Designed and engraved, in aquatinta, by George Richardson, architect.

This contains the first two parts and all that was published of a projected 'Complete System of Architecture; Or, A Series of Original Designs ... completed in One Hundred and eight plates ... Published in Four Equal Parts ...' as announced in a prospectus bound into a copy of Richardson's New designs of vases and tripods (1793) at the British Library. The first part of a complete system of architecture ... (ESTC n9775), containing 6 pages and 27 plates, was published in 1794, and the present work as published 'in One Vol. Fol. Printed on Super-royal paper, Price £3. 3w. in Boards' was advertised in 1795 (see BAL, Early printed books, no. 2759; ESTC n72328). ESTC t90833; Harris and Savage 743; BAL, Early printed books, no. 2758.
