First published with The compleat appraiser in 1757. The latter, containing information on metal-ware and textiles, has separate pagination, register, and a special title-page dated 1783 describing it as 'By an Eminent Broker, lately deceased. The Fifth Edition, greatly improved.' Gathered in fours, with horizontal chain lines and the watermarks at the middle fore-edge of leaves 3 and 4. ESTC t110176.
