London (Place), printed for Rob. Pricke, and are to be sold at his shop: where likewise is very good choice of Italian, French, Dutch and English prints,, 1674.
[2] p., [50] pl. ; 30.2 cm. (folio).

Pricke's collection of decorative patterns, largely traceable to Dutch and French originals, was influential in the aftermath of the Fire of London and was republished in 1700. The make-up of an "ideal copy" is not clear, and several of the plates bear the numbering of earlier collections. Three of the plates each bear two impressions. For a full listing of the plates see the description of BAL copy, which contains all the same plates in a slightly different order. However, the Soane copy differs in having a publisher's letterpress advertisement printed on verso of the plate of Corinthian and Composite orders, which has not been traced in any other copy. ESTC r182093; Wing P3406B; Harris and Savage 718; BAL, Early printed books, no. 2621.

Copy Notes Purchased from Priestley and Weale's Catalogue of books on architecture, 1831, item 467, '5s'. (q.v.). The publisher's letterpress advertisement has been trimmed by the binder with loss of the drop-head title 'A Catalogue ...'.
