Proposals for erecting a public monument to the memory of the late venerable President of the Royal Academy, Benjamin West, Esq. historical painter to the late King, ... The figure to be carved in white marble, as large as life, by Charles Rossi, R.A. from a model made by him, and approved and touched upon by Mr. West himself.
[London]: J. Tyler, printer, Rathbone Place, Oxford Street, [1820?].
[2] p. ; 23.6 cm. (4º)

Single quarter sheet, verso blank, with drop-head title. Watermark date: 1818. West had died on 11 March 1820. Rossi's attempt to raise a public subscription for this proposed monument to West, a model of which he exhibited at the Royal Academy in 1821 (cat. 1112), seems to have been unsuccessful.

Binding Loose sheet.
