The title-page of the second volume reads Palazzi moderni di Genova raccolti e designati da Pietro Paolo Rubens. The first part was originally published in Antwerp in 1622, with a second part being added somewhat later, probably around 1625 (q.v.), both having only an undated half-title reading Palazzi di Genova; the present part titles with the attribution of the plates to Rubens was first published in an edition issued in 1652. Copy Notes Title-pages very closely cropped, that to part 1 folded at the foot. Plates 68--72 of part 1 are misbound at the end of part 2. At the end of part 1 are duplicates of plates 22, 24 (cropped), 35--38 and 68 (cropped). Inscribed in ink on front free-endpaper Nr.62.

Binding C17th sheep, blind-tooled spine, red morocco spine-label.
