The third Scottish Academy annual exhibition catalogue; the first (q.v.) and second (q.v.) are also in the Soane Museum. On the request of Thomas Hamilton, one of the founders of the Academy who had sent him a copy of the First report of the council ..., 1828 (q.v.), Soane exhibited three designs - a royal palace, part of the exterior of the Bank of England, and His Majesty's entrance from the Scala Regia into the Painted Chamber leading into the Royal Robing Room - in the third exhibition.
