Dated at head of p. [3] 'December, 1828.' Price at foot of imprint: '6d. each, or 36s. per hundred.' The wood-engraving is reprinted from the Society's Observations on the cruelty of employing climbing-boys in sweeping chimneys, 1828 (q.v.).

Copy Notes With a covering letter to Soane by P.J. Heisch dated 22d Nov. [1829?] tipped-in at the front. Bound first in a collection of pamphlets including the Society's Observations and the thirteenth report of the Committee (q.v.).

Binding C19th half dark green hairsheep, blind double-rule borders, marbled-paper boards, gilt double-ruled spine, gilt-lettered 'Climbing / Boys'. Numbered '94' in a series of pamphlet volumes.
