With a wood-engraved vignette mounted at the head of the half-title. Printer's imprint from verso of title-page and p. [24]. A 'Notice' on the final page, dated 'Jan. 1, 1804' announces that 'Detailed particulars of the plans of the Society will be given in a Prospectus, which will be issued as soon as possible.'.

Copy Notes Bound in a volume of pamphlets on the arts.

Binding C19th blue paper boards, brown paper spine lettered in ink 'Miscel-/Laneous// Landseer/ Letters// Haydon/ on the/ Elgin/ Marbles/ &c./ &c./ E'. Later numbered '89' in a series of pamphlet volumes.
