Reports made upon the musical language invented by F. Sudre. ...
London (Place), [1835?].
8 p. ; 21.3 cm. (8º)

Title from printed pink paper wrapper. According to a review in the Supplement to the Musical Library for August 1835 (pp. 77--78), Sudre made a public demonstration of his system of "telephonic" communication using music in the Concert Room of the King's Theatre on 8 July 1835, suggesting that the present pamphlet may have been printed in connection with this. A further pamphlet of extracts from the French press was published in or after 1835, with continuous pagination (q.v.).

Copy Notes The reports were evidently sent to Soane with a printed covering letter dated 25 June 1835 (q.v.).

Binding Original printed pink paper wrappers.

Reference Number 3395

Additional Names Sudre, François (1787--1862)
