Copy Notes The Soane copy lacks the inset slip announcing the possibility of a 'second number' if there is sufficient support, and noting the incompleteness of the list of subscribers. (See Abbey, Scenery, no. 290.) Views of Reading Abbey, with those of the churches originally connected with it, in the county of Berks was published in 2 volumes, 1805--10. Bound (1) with James Christie, An essay on ... the worship of the elements, 1814 (q.v.).
