The act for Vauxhall bridge received the Royal Assent in June 1809. The bridge was begun as Regent's Bridge by John Rennie in May 1811, completed by James Walker in 1816 and replaced by the present bridge in 1906.
Binding C19th quarter calf, marbled paper boards, gilt-rule spine, paper spine-label hand-lettered in ink in a contemporary hand.
