A companion to the author's guide to ancient Rome published in 1763 (q.v.). Berlin Kat. 2717 records a large town plan not present in Soane's copy or the BAL copy and not called for by the 'Indice Delle Figure'. BAL, Early printed books, no. 3413.
Copy Notes Uncut and partially unopened.
Binding Contemporary half vellum, gilt short title on spines in imitation of labels. Block-printed decorated paper boards with large floral patterns coloured red, green and yellow. Volume II trimmed printer's waste rear pastedown.
