First published in 1630 as Arithmetique made easie. Soane also owned a copy of the 17th edition of 1740 titled Mr. Wingate's Arithmetick (q.v.). In 791 numbered paragraphs. ESTC t86940.

Copy Notes Inscribed in ink on second front free-endpaper 0/2/6 / John Soane/ 1805. Thomas Boone was paid 2s. 6d. on 22 July 1805. (Spiers Box). Inscribed in ink on front free-endpaper Mr Gee inform'd me that his/ sister could multiply by her/ head 18 figures by/ 14 figures; & that she had done/ it in ye presence of Peter Collin-/son & others F.R.S. Mr /Hanbury who was present/ confirmed this account. - 19 July 1782/ G B- followed by an arithmetic equation referring to the text of '§180'. 'A Catalogue of useful Things, or Memorandum necessary to be known and remembered on several Occasions, by all Persons in Business', p. 154 of an unidentified work, is pasted onto the rear paste-down.
