'Price Six Pence.' The sermon upon which this tract develops was 'Preached at St. Bridget's Church on Easter-Monday, 1750; and sold by the Booksellers in London and Westminster.' (p. [1]). A large part of this is from Maddox's The expediency of preventive wisdom, London, 1750. A Justice of the Peace for Middlesex from 1810 to 1836, Soane was also Licensing Magistrate for the Holborn Division. ESTC n1481.
Binding Bound in a numbered series of late 19th century half calf pamphlet volumes. (Archive, Trustees' Minutes 18 June 1866). With binder's stamp 'Bound By Mansell' on front pastedown.
