Anonymous. The British Library has another issue bearing the author's name, George W. Todd. The title-page is engraved. First published in 1809. The final leaf advertises Todd's catalogue of books and prints.

Copy Notes Bound (3) with The Gloucester new guide, 1802 (q.v.), and A guide to the cathedral church of St. Peter's York, 1818 (q.v.).

Binding C19th half calf, marbled-paper boards, black morocco spine-label reading 'Gloucester/ & York/ Guides'. Bound by E. Hutchinson for 1s. 4d. on 6 July 1830. (Spiers Box, binding bills).
