Varie pitture a fresco de' principali maestri Veneziani ora la prima volta con le stampe pubblicate.
In Venezia (Place), 1760.
XII p., hand-col. engr. t.-pl., 24 etch. pl. ; 47.5 cm. (2°)

Anonymous. By Antonio Maria Zanetti the younger (1706--1778). Based around a series of 24 etchings of drawings after Venetian frescoes, this first edition was circulated privately by Zanetti; following his death, the plates were reprinted with a new setting of the letterpress, a portrait and a memoir of the author, without altering the date on the title-plate (q.v.). With engraved drop-head title on p. [I] and decorative etched tail-piece on p. XII. Catchword on p. [I]: 'nieghi'. This copy has the open-lettering of the engraved title-plate hand-coloured in red and the text bound after the plates. See notes to BAL, Early printed books, no. 3739 (post-1778 ed.).
