All the plates are signed as drawn by Giuseppe Zocchi, except for the title-plate, the design for which was copied by Giuseppe Magni from a fresco by Giovanni da San Giovanni on the outside of a house facing the Porta Romana. The dedication by Zocchi's patron, Marchese Andrea Gerini, to Maria Teresa Queen of Hungary and Grand Duchess of Tuscany, is dated 1 July 1744. A later state of the title-plate has the imprint of G. Bouchard, dated 1754 (q.v.).

Copy Notes Bound (1) with a copy of Zocchi's Vedute delle ville, e d'altri luoghi della Toscana published the same year (q.v.).

Binding Late C18th English half calf, gilt-ruled spine, red morocco lettering-piece obscured by paper-label inscribed in ink '[G]erini. Views In Florence'.
