First edition, with the plates before numbers. The allegorical title-plate of La Toscana incorporates a medallion self-portrait of Zocchi aged 27. Includes plates etched by Piranesi, Marieschi, F.-P. Duflos, Giuliano Giampiccoli, and by Zocchi himself. With the letterpress list of plates bound at the end.

Copy Notes Bound with a copy of Zocchi's Scelta di XXIV vedute ... della città di Firenze published the same year (q.v.). Plate [9] squared in pencil.

Binding Late C18th English half calf, gilt-ruled spine, red morocco lettering-piece obscured by paper-label inscribed in ink '[G]erini. Views In Florence'.
