Title from general title-page in vol. I only; each volume has a volume title-page. The first collected edition of Otway's works was published in 1712. Includes in vol. I an engraved portrait of Otway by I. Miller after M. Beal, and an 'Account of the Life and Writings of Mr Thomas Otway'. The contents, each with a divisional title-leaf, are as follows: Vol. I: Alcibiades. Don Carlos, prince of Spain. Titus and Berenice, with The cheats of Scapin. -- Vol. II: Friendship in fashion. The soldier's fortune. The atheist, or, The second part of The soldier's fortune. -- Vol. III: The orphan. The history and fall of Caius Marius. Venice preserv'd. Poems and letters.
