Taylor, Thomas (1758--1835). Proclus. Prospectus
[Advertisement. 1821?]
The following is a list of translations and original works. By T. Taylor.
London (Place), [for Thomas Taylor],, [1821?].
[4] p. ; 22.8 cm. (8º)

Drop-head title. Publisher's advertisement list with MS. annotations, printed in three pages with three sections for translations from the Greek, from the Latin, and original works, is almost identical to that given in two columns in vol. II of Taylor's translation of The commentaries of Proclus on the Timæus of Plato, 1820 (q.v.), but some of the book prices are cheaper, probably indicating a later date, and has an additional item inserted at the end of the list of original works: 'Orphic Fragments, hitherto inedited. See No. XXXIII. of the Classical Journal.'. Eleven items are neatly starred in ink, including Iamblichus on the Mysteries &c. 8vo 16s. which is added in MS. at the end of the translations from Greek.

Copy Notes Loosely inserted in vol. I of Taylor's translation of The commentaries of Proclus on the Timæus of Plato, 1820 (q.v.) together with two proposals for printing by subscription, one for that work (q.v.) and the other for Taylor's Iamblichus on the mysteries of the Egyptians, Chaldeans, and Assyrians (q.v.), which was published in 1821 (q.v.).
