The frontispiece is a portrait bust of Shakespeare by W.T. Fry after George Bullock's cast of the monumental bust at Stratford-upon-Avon, and the plate contains facsimiles of Shakespeare's signature. With a leaf of errata following the prelims and a leaf of publishers' advertisements at the end of vol. II. Lowndes 670; Ebisch & Schuckling 27; CBEL III, 668.
Binding C19th diced russia calf, blind roll-tooled borders within gilt double fillets, gilt double-ruled spines direct-lettered in gilt, marbled edges. Bound by Edwin Hutchinson for £1, 24 October 1831. (Archives 7/16/29. Book-binding).
