Londini typis F. Collins, pro Societate Stationariorum, 1708.
[16], 540, [42] p. ; 13.5 cm. (12º)

Copy Notes Inscribed in ink on the title-page J. Soane (the final 'e' added after 1783). Caricature faces in ink sketched on title-page verso. A copy was bought from Mr. Scholey (Robert Scholey of Paternoster-Row) for 1s., 1 August 1806 (Jnl 5, p.71), but the early form of Soane's ownership inscription suggests otherwise, and the payment to Scholey may relate to another untraced copy disposed of before 1837. Ink inscription mostly concealed on front pastedown beneath library bookplate.

Binding C18th sheep, blind-tooled border parallel to spine, paper spine-label lettered in ink 'Pub: Terentii / Commœdiæ Sex'.

Reference Number 3911
