In this (probably slightly later) edition, including corrections as marked in MS. in the two copies of the earlier edition (q.v.) the introduction is dated as before but it is more verbose, occupying pp. [v], v--xii rather than pp. [v], vi--ix. ESTC t109613.

Copy Notes Imperfect; wanting the half-title? Bound (2) in a collection of pamphlets on fire prevention, after a copy of the earlier edition with MS. corrections (q.v.).

Binding Late 18th-century half sprinkled calf, marbled-paper boards, gilt double-rule spine, red morocco spine-label lettered 'Fires'. Half bound by Edward Lawrence for 1s. 6d., 1802. (Spiers Box). Later numbered '98' in a series of pamphlet volumes.
