A part of the author's Castra in Campo cantiano, printed from a manuscript in the library of the College of Arms which was never published as a whole. This portion, translated by Alexander Campbell, was not printed till 1786. The plates are numbered 1 to 11 with the vignette on page 1 counted as plate 10. Page 56 is misnumbered 65. Binding C18th diced russia, gilt-ruled panels and spine, gilt-tooled turn-ins, gilt edges.
