A translation of the letters relating to France in Dibdin's A bibliographical, antiquarian and picturesque tour in France and Germany, 1821 (q.v.). Translations of the 9th letter (by Licquet) and of the 30th letter (by Crapelet) were issued separately in 1821.

Binding C19th calf, gilt double-ruled borders and spine, dark green morocco spine-label. Two volumes bound as one. Edwin Hutchinson was paid 2s. 10d. for binding and 1s. for lettering on 6 June 1831. (Priv. Corr. XVI.E.7).
