Issued as suite 11 in Dumont's Recueil de plusieurs parties de l'architecture, 3 tomes, c. 1770 (q.v.). The title appears on a plaque fixed to the pedestal of the vase in the title-plate, which is a half-plate numbered 34. The designs are by Dumont and Simon Challe (1719--1765). The engraved 'Catalogue' bound at the end of the Recueil volumes calls for 8 feuilles or leaves of plates; the Soane copy like the Berlin and Millard copies contains 10 leaves, but is unlike the Millard copy at least in having 10 half-page and 5 full-page plates where Millard describes 12 half-page and 4 full-page plates (for a total of 16 impressions).
