Copy Notes Tipped in on the front paste-down of Linton's Sketches in Italy, vol. I (q.v.). Inscribed in ink on final page The Remaining Notices are upon the/ inside of Cover of Mrs Hofland's Poetry, i.e. Barbara Hofland's Poetical illustrations ..., 1832 (q.v.). Probably enclosed by Linton in an ALs dated 29 March 1833, accompanying a copy of the Poetical illustrations as an inducement to subscribe to the pictorial work. (Priv. Corr. I.L.13).
