Anonymous. The BAL copy is inscribed '... Lord Farnborough Not published'. This short work was privately printed in 1826. Although he had little to say about Soane's work in the city, Long shared Soane's contention as elaborated in the latter's Designs for public improvements in London and Westminster, 1827 (q.v.) that London should be remodelled around key public buildings.
