Also attributed to Maurice Morgann. The Reverend William Mason was identified as the author of An heroic epistle (first published in 1773) and hence as Malcolm McGreggor in February 1798, shortly after his death. The second 'thirteenth' edition of An heroic epistle was published in 1776, the same year as the Ode to Mr. Pinchbeck. The final pages advertises other works recently published by J. Almon. Copy Notes Bound (7) in a collection of poetry.

Binding C18th half sprinkled calf, marbled-paper boards, gilt-tooled spine, green morocco spine label gilt-lettered 'Poems'. Later numbered '107' in a series of pamphlet volumes.
