Anonymous. Sometimes attributed to William Combe (1741--1823). An attack in verse on the religious enthusiasm of the Methodists. The final leaf contains an announcement of the publication 'in a few Days' of Perfection: a poetical epistle by the same author. Engraved vignette on title-page. ESTC t47033.

Binding C18th marbled-paper boards, white paper spine lettered in ink 'Poems'. Numbered '57' in a series of pamphlet volumes.
