Copy Notes Bound (3) with Remarks on Mr. Pope's Epistle of taste, 1751 (q.v.), E. Ashmole, The entire ceremonies of the coronations of ... Charles II. and ... Bound at the front of the volume is an apparently extraneous plate formerly attributed to Hogarth under the title 'Taste, or Burlington Gate' (more fully described in the catalogue entry for the first work in the volume), suggesting a tentative identification with the item described as 'Taste, with frontispiece by Hogarth, and other Tracts. 4to' bought from T. & W. Boone for 14s. on 15 February 1831. (Priv. Corr. XVI.E.7.15).

Binding C18th quarter sheep, gilt double-rule spine, marbled-paper boards, later black and red leather spine labels, numbered '18' in a series of pamphlet volumes.
