Drop-head title. The plates are signed by Stukeley and dated 1720. The British Library has two variant copies; one is paginated as the Soane copy, the other is without pagination. ESTC t108883.

Copy Notes Bound (3) with Remarks on Mr. Pope's Epistle of taste, 1751 (q.v.), E. Ashmole, The entire ceremonies of the coronations of ... Charles II. and ... Queen Mary, consort to James II, 1761 (q.v.), S. Boyce, The rover, or, happiness at last, 2nd ed., 1753 (q.v.), and T. Carte, The Irish massacre set in a clear light, 2nd ed., 1715 (q.v.). Bound at the front of the volume is an apparently extraneous plate formerly attributed to Hogarth under the title 'Taste, or Burlington Gate' (more fully described in the catalogue entry for the first work in the volume), suggesting a tentative identification with the item described as 'Taste, with frontispiece by Hogarth, and other Tracts. 4to' bought from T. & W. Boone for 14s. on 15 February 1831. (Priv. Corr. XVI.E.7.15).

Binding C18th quarter sheep, gilt double-rule spine, marbled-paper boards, later black and red leather spine labels, numbered '18' in a series of pamphlet volumes.
