Congratulatory new year poems to different men of distinction (Foxon T128). Theobald was a translator of Virgil and Voltaire. ESTC t116791.
Copy Notes Accompanied by a letter of presentation to one of the dedicatees from the author dated Feb. 27th, 1746/7. Cropped at the top by the binder with slight loss of printed area on second leaf. Bound (4) in a collection of pamphlets.
Binding C18th half sprinkled calf, marbled-paper boards, gilt-tooled spine, green morocco spine label gilt-lettered 'Poems'. Later numbered '107' in a series of pamphlet volumes.
