Engraved facsimile of a handwritten covering letter issued to accompany a circular advertising a 'Grand Lottery, By Daniel Coiths' Sons in Vienna' (q.v.). Both are signed 'W.H. Reinganum', Daniel Coiths' Sons' agent in Frankfurt-am-Main.. The second leaf is blank.
Copy Notes Formerly folded and sealed as an envelope addressed in ink on p. [4] to John Soane Esqr / 13 Lincoln's Inn fields / London to accompany a copy of the plan of the lottery (q.v.). With the seal excised from the second leaf. No postmarks are present. The two items bound (21 and 21*) in a collection of pamphlets.
Binding 19th maroon goatskin, blind-ruled borders and spine, marbled-paper boards. Numbered '111' in a series of pamphlet volumes.
