Copy Notes With marginal ink mark drawing attention to lot 1186, a 25-volume grangerised copy of Michael Bryan's Biographical and critical dictionary of painters and engravers, 1816 (q.v.), for which Soane paid John Britton £136 16s. on 4 June 1825. (Archive, Britton Correspondence III.B1/45). Bound in a collection of sale catalogues.
