The title-page imprint is undated. With a half-title. A street directory first published in by Patrick Boyle as The fashionable court guide, or the town visit directory in 1792 and issued annually with variant titles, imprints and sizes until 1925. Eliza Boyle succeeded to the editorship following the death of Patrick Boyle in 1808. See separate entries for other editions in Soane's library: as Boyle's Court and country guide, 1806, 1813, 1817, 1819, 1821--23; as Boyle's Fashionable court and country guide, 1824--25, 1828, 1831--35. In this edition Soane is listed at 13 Lincoln's Inn Fields (p. 73) having moved from No.12 in 1813; his neighbours are his tenant G. Booth Tyndale at No.12 and Christopher Puller at No.14.
