The title-page imprint is undated. With a half-title. A street directory first published in by Patrick Boyle as The fashionable court guide, or the town visit directory in 1792 and issued annually with variant titles, imprints and sizes until 1925. Eliza Boyle succeeded to the editorship following the death of Patrick Boyle in 1808, and was succeeded at her death in 1833 by George Boyle. See separate entries for other editions in Soane's library: as Boyle's Court and county guide, 1806, 1813, 1815, 1817, 1819, 1821--23; as Boyle's Fashionable court and country guide, 1824--25, 1828, 1831--33, 1835. In this edition Soane is listed (as 'Sir J. Soane, arch.') at 13 Lincoln's Inn Fields (p. 125); his neighbours are his tenants Edward Stanley, surgeon, at No.12 and the solicitors Henry Williams and John Bethell at No.14. With advertisements on the leaf preceding the half-title and the half-title verso, and fifty-seven final pages of miscellaneous advertisements.
