[8], 142 leaves, [14] double pl., [4] fold. maps, [1] double plan : add. engr. t.-pl., engr. illus. ; 41.5 cm. (2º)

Originally published in 1694. Added engraved title-page reads 'Prospectus Castellorum Et Prætoriorum Procerum & Nobilium Brabantiæ, Cœnobiorumque Celebriorum. ...'. Parallel titles in French 'Chateaux Et Maisons De Campagne, Des Gentilhommes Du Brabant' and in Dutch 'Kasteelen En Heeren Huysen Der Edelen Van Brabant'. Text in Latin with French and Dutch translations. The engraved title-page is by Abraham van Diepenbeeck. The other engravings are by various artists, the majority by Jacobus Harrewijn. Unnumbered folded plates are placed before leaves 1 (two plates), 17 and 131. There is no leaf numbered '74', but this number has probably been omitted from the right-hand corner of the folded leaf 73. The Soane copy as described is without L'erection de toutes les terres, seigneuries & familles titrees du Brabant, [10], 108 leaves, usually found appended.

The first, captioned 'Catalogvs Librorvm, Qvos Petrvs Vander Aa, Bibliopola Lvgdvno-Batavvs, ...' (q.v.) is unsigned; the second is signed Kk1-2 (i.e. consecutively with the register of the main work, but separately cropped to 40.5 cm) and contains a 'Catalogvs Librorvm Qvi In Thesavro Antiqvitatvm Romanarvm ... reperiuntur, Ex multis Exquisitis & raris Scriptoribus congestus à Joh.
