At head of title: Ninety second edition. Running title: Kent's Directory, 1824. The publisher Henry Kent (fl. 1732--1771) began publishing directories in 1736, the date of the earliest surviving example recorded in ESTC, having the title The directory. From c. 1740 it was published as Kent's Directory, and from 1814 until 1827 as Kent's Original London directory. The price is given at the foot of the imprint as '3s. sewed, 3s. 6d. bound, & with the Assistant, 5s.'.

Copy Notes Bound (1) as issued with Kent's Original tradesman's assistant, 1824 (q.v.).

Binding Original C19th sheep, covers with blind-tooled border parallel to spine, blind double-ruled and dated spine.
