Drop-head title. Imprint from p. 8 reads: 'Dalla Stamperia di Gugl. Bulmer e Co. Cleveland Row, St. James's.' Signed at the end 'T.J. Mathias / Agosto 1807'. The 'Italian Ode, or Tuscan Canzone' addressed to Nicholls, composed by the author at Nicholls's 'villa at Blundeston' in 1807 and first 'prefixed to a publication in three volumes, entitled Aggiunta ai componimenti lirici de' più illustri poeti d'Italia, London: T. Becket, 1808, (p. 22) was re-issued in several formats.

Copy Notes Page 1 inscribed in ink Dall' autore'. ['e' trimmed]. Bound in a collection of pamphlets.

Binding C19th half calf, marbled-paper boards, gilt double-rule spine, black spine-label lettered 'Epistle To The Emperor of China &c &c.', numbered '33' in a series of pamphlet volumes.
