At head of title: 'The Third Edition, Corrected.' First published in 1780. Satirical sketches of various prominent women. Pages 95 (from line 5) and [96] advertise 'Books printed for G. Kearsly.' ESTC t176326.

Copy Notes Bought for 3s. from T. & W. Boone on 27 May 1822. (Priv. Corr. XVI.E.4.5). Boone had acquired it as lot 202 on the first day of the third part of the sale of the library of Soane's friend the newspaper editor James Perry, 16 May 1822; see annotated copy of the R.H. Evans catalogue in the British Library. The names of the prominent women represented are supplied in ink throughout.

Binding C19th half calf, marbled-paper boards, gilt double-rule spine, black spine-label lettered 'Epistle To The Emperor of China &c &c.', numbered '33' in a series of pamphlet volumes.
