House of Commons 99. The first report was published in 1806. Lieutenant-General Oliver de Lancey was Barrack Master General during the period of the Enquiry, and published his Observations ... upon the fourth, and supplement to the first report of the Commissioners of Military Inquiry (q.v.) in the same year. The architect to the Barrack Department was Soane's former first pupil, John Sanders, who also published his own Observations on 'such parts ... as relate to the Building Branch' in the following year (q.v.).

Copy Notes Bound (1) in a volume of parliamentary publications relating to Chelsea Hospital, 1807--1812, retaining upper printed blue paper wrapper reading 'Fourth Report Of The Commissioners of Military Enquiry. Office of The Barrack Master General. Buildings. With Supplement to The First and Third Reports. March 1807.'
